ABOUT

Life Philosophy? Maybe.

I believe you aren't living fully unless you're putting yourself out there, in whatever way you can. The very act of doing what you love is essentially putting yourself out there. Whether you love painting, reading, or singing, sometimes doing it the first time, often just for yourself, is the most difficult first step. Putting yourself out there to yourself and telling yourself - "this is me, this is you, this is what you're capable of, this is what you love, this is what you've been trying to push away all this while." It's the most liberating thing you can do to face yourself, look at yourself, the perfections, the averages and the flaws and accept it - embrace it.

The Occasional Epiphanies is my attempt at facing myself and learning to accept myself. This blog is a space I create for myself, and what I write are my opinions and thoughts. Most of this might be general observations, not applicable to specifics. I might inadvertently or advertently sacrifice general sensibilities for the sake of art and impeccable political correctness for the sake of my opinions. Pretentious vocabulary might be used for the sake of aesthetics or pompousness.
